A “cyber-cerebral process” is an interspheral process that takes place both in the digital infosphere and in the brain of living beings, whereby the parts of the process form an interspherical unit.

In addition to the digital infosphere, either the entisphere or the cognisphere is involved. Focusing on its physical existence, the brain is to be considered to be a part of the biosphere and thus of the entisphere. In a functional view, however, the brain is to be assigned to the cogniphere.

The term “cyber-cerebral process” was coined as part of the terminology of the “Digital Era Framework”.
