The word “Digisphere” refers to the “Digital Infosphere”.

The “digital sphere” is the entirety of all information which is digitally encoded and stored or transmitted in digital media. The term “digisphere” refers to the idea of a sphere in the sense of a body of digitally encoded information that surrounds the earth, as if it were a global shell.

The term “digisphere” has a central role in the “Digital Era Framework” where it designates one of the four great spheres in which information manifests itself. Besides the “analogosphere”, the “digisphere” is part of the “infosphere” and is delimited from the entisphere and the cognisphere.
