Digital decorum” means, in relation to the context of digital technologies, the measure to be applied to human behaviour in ethical and moral terms, which is based on a consensus established in the social system and therefore serves as a reference for expectation and evaluation in social interaction.

The term “digital decency” is used in English as a synonym for “digital decency”. The terms “digital etiquette” and “netiquette” are used in a narrower sense.
