The word enthusiasm describes the state of positive excitement of individuals, in which a drive for action carried by intense passion unleashes itself.

Enthusiasm describes a particularly intense attitude of joy and expectation towards a thought, an idea, a plan, a development, a fact, an object or a person in which passionate eagerness is inherent and which thus contains the impulse to one’s own supportive action.

A person who is in a state of enthusiasm is called an enthusiast.

Enthusiasm directed toward digitization, digital change, and digital transformation is called digital enthusiasm.
