An “Enti-Digital System” is a distinct set of elements of both the entisphere and the digital infosphere that are connected to each other in such a way that they can interact across the boundaries of the spheres in order to fulfill a task, a meaning or a purpose, thus forming a transspheral functional unit.

The term “Enti-Digitales System” has been coined as part of the terminology of the “Digital Era Framework”. In this reference framework, four spheres are identified on the basis of the type of information manifestation, which can be used to classify systems: The infosphere, which consists of the analog infosphere and the digital infosphere, as well as the cognisphere and the entisphere. If both the entisphere and the digital infosphere are affected in a system, the term “Enti-Digitales System” can be used.

The term “cyber-entitarian system” can serve as a synonym.
