The adjectives “exodigital” and “exodigispheral” refer to processes that can be described as exospheral in relation to the digital infosphere, i.e. that take place completely outside the digital infosphere, or that a phenomenon or an object is located exclusively outside the digital infosphere.

The adjective “exodigital” is a neologism defined as part of the terminology of the “Digital Era Framework”. This framework serves to describe processes that are analyzed in the context of descriptive investigation of digital change, digitization and digital transformation or the structures of a digital world in the digital age.
