The word “online economist” is usually used to describe an economist whose specialty is “online economics”. An “online economist” is therefore an expert in the field of teaching and practice of systematic approaches to meeting human needs in view of scarcity, which is essentially based on the targeted use of digital information and communication technologies.
The terms digital economist, cyber economist and internet economist are largely used synonymously.
