Sociodigital change” is the change in social matters, structures, systems and functional mechanisms induced by digital change and digitization.

The term “sociodigital change” can refer both to individual phenomena of change and to the totality of the social changes triggered by digital change. The term “sociodigital change” in a comprehensive sense covers all social changes that are taking place in the transition from the industrial age to the digital information age.

The term “sociodigital change” is closely related to the terms “sociodigital transformation” and “sociodigital revolution”.
