As soon as the visitors access the aforementioned social media presences within the respective social network, the terms and conditions, the terms of use and the data processing guidelines / privacy policies of the respective operators apply there.

The terms and conditions, terms of use and data processing guidelines / privacy policies of the mentioned social networks and their operators are not under our control.

We have no influence on the data collection and its further use by the mentioned social networks and their operators.

We expressly draw your attention to the fact that social networks like Twitter store the data of their users (e.g. personal information, IP address etc.) according to their data usage guidelines and use them for business purposes.

In what way Twitter uses the data from visits to Twitter profiles / channels for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Twitter page are assigned to individual users, how long Twitter stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Twitter page is passed on to third parties, is not directly recognizable for us and is therefore beyond our original knowledge.

To what extent, at what location and for how long the data is stored, to what extent the operators of the social network comply with existing data deletion obligations, which evaluations and links are made with the data and to whom the data is passed on, is not directly recognizable for us and is therefore beyond our original knowledge.

Our knowledge only extends to the information given in the data processing guidelines / privacy policies published by the respective social networks or their operators. We refer to these for further information.

We would like to point out that you use the Twitter short message service and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. sharing, rating).

The data collected about you when using the service is processed by Twitter International Company respectively the Twitter Inc. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. This includes your IP address, the application used, information about the terminal device you are using (including device ID and application ID), information about the websites you visit, your location and your mobile phone provider.

This data is assigned to the data of your Twitter account or your Twitter profile. We have no influence on the type and extent of the data processed by Twitter, the type of processing and use or the disclosure of this data to third parties. Information about which data is processed by Twitter and for what purposes can be found in Twitter’s data protection declaration (https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=en) and about the possibility of viewing your own data on Twitter (https://support.twitter.com/articles/20172711#). You also have the option of requesting information via the Twitter data protection form or the archive requests:
https://support.twitter.com/forms/privacy and https://support.twitter.com/articles/20170320#.

You can restrict the processing of your data in the general settings of your Twitter account and under the Menu Item “Privacy and security”. In addition, on mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers) you can restrict Twitter access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc. in the settings options there. However, this depends on the operating system you are using. Further information on these issues can be found on the following Twitter support pages:
https://support.twitter.com/articles/105576# and https://help.twitter.com/en/search?q=Privacy

Twitter buttons or Twitter widgets embedded in websites and the use of cookies enable Twitter to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Twitter profile. This data can be used to tailor content or advertising to your needs. You will find information on this and the available settings on the following Twitter support pages:
https://support.twitter.com/articles/20171570# and https://support.twitter.com/articles/20170520#.
