“Analysis” – in the context of the “Digital Era Framework” – is understood as the processing of information with scientific methods for the purpose of knowledge generation.

In the systematics of the “Digital Era Framework”, “analysis” is assigned to the mode of “exploration“, which in turn is regarded as one of the seven modes of information application.
