The term “sociodigital revolution” describes the radical change in all aspects of people’s social coexistence triggered by the development and dissemination of digital information and communication technologies. “Sociodigital revolution” is the radical change in social concerns, structures, systems and functional mechanisms induced by digital change and digitization.

The term “sociodigital revolution” can refer to individual phenomena of change as well as to the totality of the social changes triggered by digital change. The term “sociodigital revolution” in a comprehensive sense covers all social changes that are taking place in the transition from the industrial age to the digital information age.
